Bag & Tag

Bag & Tag is an interactive guide book with an emphasis on design aimed at avid hillwalkers planning on tackling any Munro mountain in Scotland. My vision was to create a paperback book small enough to fit in your backpack and informative enough to be referred to before, during and after a completed hike. A way for climbers of all skill sets to document their progress as they set out to climb Scotlands most beautiful mountains.

Doing my research I found that many of the books on the market were no more than basic checklists with limited information and no artistic merit. As a designer I felt like there was an opportunity to create an illustrative and practical log book for the passionate hiking community.

Bag & Tag includes essential stats and figures on all 282 Munro's across Scotland. Packed with hand drawn illustrations and widely sourced information relevant to each individual hike with information on where to find Munro, when to climb it and how to bag it!
